Delete Your Account & Data
Dawnwren (by Lmara) — last updated: August 3, 2026
Dawnwren ("the App"), developed by Lmara, lets you
request deletion of your account and the personal data associated with it. This page explains
how to make that request and exactly what is deleted and retained.
How to delete your account
In the app (fastest — takes effect immediately):
- Open Dawnwren and go to Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and all associated data are deleted right away, and you are
signed out.
By email (if you can no longer sign in to the app):
- Send an email to support@getstillokay.com
from the email address you use to sign in to Dawnwren.
- Put "Delete my Dawnwren account" in the subject line.
- We use the sending address to verify you own the account. If you can no longer send from
that address, include enough detail (display name, approximate sign-up date) for us to
confirm your identity.
- You will receive a confirmation once deletion is complete.
What is deleted
On a verified request, we permanently delete:
- Your account (Firebase Authentication record — email and password).
- Your profile (display name, country, phone number, subscription flags).
- Your check-in history, streaks, and escalation transition audit log.
- Your in-app notifications and health-alert records.
- Your caregiver and care-circle links (on both sides of the relationship).
- The server-side mirror of your emergency contacts (names, phone numbers,
email addresses).
- Your device push token (FCM) and stored device/diagnostic identifiers.
What is kept, and for how long
| Data | Retention |
| All personal data listed above |
Deleted within 30 days of a verified request. Most records are removed
immediately; the 30-day window covers backups and automated cleanup cycles. |
| Alerts, emails, or SMS messages already delivered to your caregivers or
emergency contacts before deletion |
Cannot be recalled — those messages are already in the recipients' inboxes/phones. No new
messages are sent after your account is deleted. |
| Anonymized crash/diagnostic logs (Firebase Crashlytics) that are not linked to your
account identifier |
Retained per Firebase's standard retention (up to 90 days), as they no longer identify you
once your account identifier is removed. |
| Records we are legally required to retain (e.g. for tax or fraud-prevention obligations,
if any) |
Kept only as long as the law requires, then deleted. |
Delete without contacting us
You can remove much of your data yourself before requesting account deletion:
- Emergency contacts — delete them in the App (this also removes the server
mirror).
- Notifications — swipe to delete in Settings → Notifications.
- Health Connect permissions — revoke any time in Android Settings.
